Catherine Zeta Jones in Monique L'Huillier
She suits old Hollywood red carpet glamour so perfectly, she looks stunning....I could only have liked this more if the dress had been red which I think would have been even better.
Scarlett Johansson in fabulous Elie Saab
A stunning dress - the only thing that could have made it more perfect would have been if her make-up had been a little more striking.
Anne Hathaway in Armani Prive
I don't always love her red carpet looks but I think she looks stunning here
Eva Longoria in Zac Posen
It's a huge dress for petite Eva but it fits her beautifully and she looks totally glamorous
January Jones in Versace
Not everyone liked it but I think she suits red & I love her hair and make up
Lea Michele in Oscar de la Renta
I wasn't sure of this at first and I know not everyone liked it, it's a lot of dress and this colour definitely wouldn't work on everyone...I think she carries it off though - helped by her youth!!
Amber Riley in Oliver Tolentino
She has such a great energy - and a smile that could power a city with its warmth... love her! She gets this dress absolutely right.
Claire Danes in Calvin Klein Collection
It might not have the biggest "wow" factor... but she looks elegant and the whole look ticks all the red carpet boxes for me
Mila Kunis in Vera Wang
Quite a few green dresses on the night but this was one of the best for me
Amy Adams in Marchesa
Simple elegance, I love how she always gets it right for her and never looks "overdone".
Lots of beautiful gowns at the Golden Globes 2011....green was very popular and there seemed to be a lot of very pale gowns too which I wasn't too keen on to be honest - unless you get the hair, make-up and accessories absolutely right, then you end up looking completely washed out...which quite a few people did for me.
It's the Red Carpet. Glamour is good - it's essential - go for it, why wouldn't you?!
Some people looked really under-dressed. I'm not going to list my Worst Dressed....but it always intrigues me how some people - even with the help of stylists - get it so right on one occasion....and so wrong on another!
And for me, it has to be the whole package....a gorgeous dress is one thing but you have to add the right hair, make-up and accessories , to really complete the look.
....the fabulous Colin Firth!
Well deserved for the fabulous "The King's Speech".
