Do Wednesdays tend to sneak up on you like the do on Muffy and me? It seems the weeks are simply flying by!
As we know any good WASP enjoys a good meal. The WASP has their staple restaurants in their hometown, but since the WASP loves to travel Muffy and I are dedicating this week to the WASPiest of eateries in Dallas and Los Angeles.

Dallas is home to a handful of divine establishments (did you know there are more restaurants per capita in Dallas than in New York City?!) and every Dallasites, including the WASP, loves eating out. While Mi Cocina to wonderful for a casual dinner and The Mansion cannot be beat for a quick lunch my favorite eatery is Cafe Pacific in Highland Park Village.
Not only is the decor to the WASP's liking, but the food cannot be beat. While Cafe Pacific cannot seem to do anything wrong their true crowd (WASP) pleasures are their sweet potato strings and the ice cream, pecan ball served in a pool of chocolate sauce. Now of course they serve some of the best sea food in town and their house chop salad is par to none too. Another perk of Cafe Pacific is its' location. The WASP can do one stop shopping in Highland Park Village. After meeting friends for lunch they can pop into Harry Winston to have their gems fixed, have their photo developed down the way at Cooters Camera, run into Tom Thumb for the pantry staples, swing into RL for a new dress and then grab an iced tea from Celebrity before heading home. Not only is the restaurant well decorated, the food is marvelous and the surroundings cannot be beat; Cafe Pacific is a WASP haven!
