I think Fall has finally arrived in Dallas, hooray! I have enjoyed wearing some more Fallish clothing today and celebrating the season this weekend...
On Saturday, I had a monthly book club dinner and meeting. This month we read The Pioneer Woman's book and Andrea was the host. She had a lovely chili bar and pumpkin cake for dessert and a Halloween theme was carried out throughout the home. Heath, Andrea's husband, also spoiled us with Fletcher's corn dogs that he brought home from the fair, lucky us!
On Saturday morning Andrea and I headed to my beloved Fort Worth for Christmas in Cowtown. We attended this last year and had so much fun. A dear friend was on the CiC committee so we wanted to support her and get in the Christmas spirit.
We did not do any heavy, heavy shopping, but I did pick up a few polka dot wrapping papers and matching gift boxes. I bought paper from this vendor last year and use it on every gift I gift. It is the best paper and can be paired with any ribbon for any occasion...it is a winner in my book! If interested in some polka dot paper (or leopard, zebra or holiday!) the vendor is Under Wraps and I believe you can call them and order as they are still working on their site. Before heading back to Dallas we stopped by Curly's for some to.die.for pumpkin custard (can you tell Andrea and I LOVE pumpkin everything?!) and then home we came.
It has been a wonderful weekend spent with lovely friends and cooler weather!
Thank you to Melissa and Jessica for taking the above photos!
