More snow. Yep. I'm still on break from work (the perks of working at a school!), and I've been spending time at my parents' house. I woke up this morning and there was about two or three inches of snow on the ground. Oh, geez.
Anyway, how are you all? Has your life calmed down a little since the holidays? I think my life is finally chilling out, which feels great. I'm enjoying an NCIS marathon today and just hanging out with Millie-bug. Oh, what a good day!
So, you all know that I've been in my townhouse since September, and I've slowly been getting furniture and accessories to make it my own. And if I haven't mentioned it before I am a bargain shopper, a darn good bargain shopper, if I do say so myself.
As I mentioned in an earlier post this week, I have been doing a little face lift to my laundry room. Laundry room? Yes. See, in my townhouse the laundry room isn't hidden like it is in most homes, so I had to get my creative juices (and bargain hunting juices) flowing and make it a room that I didn't care for people to see (aka: make it not look like a laundry room). And this is what I came up with...
I got these cute and functional baskets and laundry basket (Ross)
I also picked up these pictures to add a home-y touch
Now my laundry room feels just like another room in my house. I might go hang out in there sometime. Hmmm, probably not, but it does feel cozy enough!
Have you all ever spiced up your laundry room? How did it turn out? I'm very happy with how mine looks. Now if I only had a new LG washer and dryer.....maybe one day....
Have a wonderful Saturday, lovelies!
