CLT Brunch!

Yesterday morning I got up bright (well, it was NOT so bright due to the time change) and early to head to Charlotte for Beantown Prepster's wedding. Since there was quite some time in between arriving and the wedding and there are SO many fabulous Charlotte bloggers it was a given that the void needed to be filled with a blog brunch! Last week we all figured out a time and place to gather... we decided on Cafe Monte which just so happened to be by the only Charlotte landmark I really knew...the mall. BLC was SO kind to pick me up from the Ritz and transport me to our gathering destination. When we arrived Annie, Lauren, Sara and Dee were all there and April arrived shortly after (we missed you Caroline!!). We had the BEST time and I really could have stayed all afternoon. It is so funny because I think that unless you blog or read blogs it is difficult to understand getting together with people you have met on the internet. I always feel like I already know people and am getting together to catch up with old friends and I have left every single blog gathering with new best friends. Our food was divine yesterday, but the company and time spent together was a highlight of my trip to Charlotte!
