I feel happiest when....
my friend C texts me at 8.25am on a Monday and says "quick coffee?"
(how does she know that she couldn't have timed it better)
it's the first of the month and I have a stack of brand new magazines to read
i think it's Thursday and it's actually Friday
(happens to me all the time!)
i get into a routine at the gym - which for me means at least 3x a week
(doesn't happen nearly enough)
i get to bed at 10pm and read for an hour or more
i'm out walking - and not to anywhere in particular
all my other "stuff" is done and I can sit down and work on my blog
i have a holiday planned to somewhere that I really love
i get an unexpected card/letter/package
(i must write more of these myself)
my to-do-list gets done
(not sure if that ever happens)
my ironing basket is empty
(my no.1 sign that I am really on top of things!)
i'm sitting on the beach in the south of France reading with my family
i'm at the cinema eating M&Ms and drinking secret GnTs
i'm in one of London's gorgeous parks or walking by the River Thames
i'm laughing out loud
having my hair blowdried
(my hairstylist is a genius)
i have a really healthy lunch
(even if it is followed by chocolate at night)
i'm at the airport
i'm watching one of my children do something they really love
i'm shopping, not for anything in particular, but I find something that's just perfect
my lovely new bag arrived yesterday....thanks Online Stylist :)
....happiest of all.....time to ponder, consider, contemplate, exhale, dwell, relax....
