WASP Wednesday: Graduation

Well, it may be Cinco de Mayo, but here in our world it is WASP Wednesday! This week Muffy and I are celebrating the younger WASP set as they move on into the next phase of their life.

In the coming weeks the WASP family will travel near (and far!) to celebrate the milestone of a graduation. Not only is it an exciting day for the graduate, but for the parents as well. The WASP parent has spent years raising the next WASP generation and it is finally time to send them out in to the world; WASP father is likely also toasting to having to write one less tuition check as WASP mother mourns packing up the last dorm room (fingers crossed Tripp asks her to help decorate his first apartment)! The WASP student has finally turned in their thesis and taken their final exam and they are ready to let the good times role...until next Monday morning that is when the world calls. So, after walking across the stage and taking their hand calligraphered diploma the old station wagon is packed up and the celebrations continue... the once young WASP is now (finally) a real world WASP!
