Cruising Along

Last Thursday we left our vacation home in St. John's and hopped on a boat to the BVI for the day. We choose a New Horizons charter which we absolutely LOVED! If you are ever in the USVI I would highly recommend this company and you have to request Tory as your mate, she is phenomenal and so sweet and outgoing. We cruised for just over an hour and then docked at Virgin Gorda. We took a taxi to The Baths.

The baths are essentially volcanic boulders laying on the beach. They have created caves and grottoes which you walk through and are also open to the sea. This was definitely fun to see and also a good workout climbing through them!

After our tour of The Baths it was was back to the boat. We saw many of the above on our way to lunch....isn't The Arabella pretty?! So picturesque with the American flag flying.
We stopped for lunch at Pusser's for lunch and then it was time to snorkel!

We saw some amazing coral during this snorkel excursion. Lots of fish, but no sea turtles, sting rays or man of wars like we saw at Leinster Bay in St. John's.

After our workout in the water we headed to Jost van Dyke for our final stop. Soggy Dollar Bar attracts quite the crowd and just so happens to be the filming of this famed music video:

We did not happen to see Kenny on our trip, but we did have a grand time cruising the seas last Thursday!
