This past weekend was jammed pack with both work and play. Several friends and I headed to the Ritz on Saturday afternoon for a staycation! We enjoyed time by the pool (yes, it was HOT), dinner down in the new arts district, Brad Paisley in concert, a wonderful night's rest and then brunch at Fearings the next morning. We had such a fabulous time and not having to pack up and drive out of town just to get away was the best perk of all. Staycations as a great way to relax without having to get away. We had a splendid time and are ready to do a repeat later in the Fall!
The Ritz always has such wonderful flowers. This pink and green set up is rather reminiscent of the George V arrangements and was waiting for us when we entered- didn't we perfectly time our staycation?!
