Paris Fashion Week....extraordinary, stunning, theatrical, breathtaking....almost impossible to pick favourites but above is a small selection from this past week in the French capital....

It's been a strange week....home for three days with sick children, I didn't even step outside my home....I secretly enjoyed having my son home (and he definitely did!)....and on the plus side my ironing basket is now....ta da....empty!! And that only happens once a year, if that.

It seems wrong to even mention housework in the same post as Paris Fashion Week...but such is the variety of my life :) And that's the way I like it.

This week-end.....apart from needing to exhale a little....I have my son's birthday party....30 4-5 year olds, yikes!! Thankfully I am sharing it with a friend and we do have an entertainer :)

Not for him a Toy Story or Scooby Doo cake (altho he loves them)....he requested a "Top Gear" cake with The Stig on it....and so that is what he will be having :)

("Top Gear" is a TV pgrogramme about cars, presented by and aimed at midde-aged men/petrolheads!)
