WASP Wednesday is back and we plan to make it better than ever! Muffy and I have enjoyed a lovely summer and hope you have as well!
Summer is one of the WASP's very favorite seasons. The country club pool is open for the minnies and then there is of course summer camp. While the younger set has full schedule of activities the older WASPs enjoy leisure time. Of course the WASP wants their leisure time to be full of culture so what exactly do they do? Well, they travel of course!
WASPs love to travel throughout the US with their clan (think Watch Hill, the Hamptons, Sea Island and any dainty town in the Carolinas), but when it is just Mummy and Daddy the WASP couple chooses to pack up and fly high!
The European countryside is always a popular destination as family ties can often be traced to local villages. However, anywhere with a lovely hotel and a bit of history will suffice...think Egypt (wonder of the world), an African safari (both hunting and photo), India (the British Raj period is a favorite), Brazil and small islands anywhere (the Four Seasons on Nevis is always hopping!). No matter where in the world the WASP chooses to go they are always certain embrace surroundings and take something away. That IS what a WASP vacation is all about!
