You've Got It, Lady!

Happy 50th post to me!!! Frankly, I think I look as good as Barbie did when she turned fifty! This post, however, is not about me. It is about YOU!

I am so excited to give out this award to some very deserving ladies. But first, I want to talk and talk because that' what I love to do lay a little foundation for this award.

As I mentioned before, I love blog awards. Sure, they're a little quirky, some are silly, some are fabulous, some are cute, but they are guaranteed to brighten any girl's day when she receives a comment from a fellow blogger that she has been tagged.

I have loved every award that I have received from you all. I display them with pride right down there at the bottom of my page.

However, I wanted to establish a new award here in the blog world (because I can do that, dang it). And so the 'You've Got IT!' (and yes, you must make 'it' all caps) blog award was born!

So, what is this award all about?

It is a way of recognizing blogs that have something (IT) that you love. The thing that keeps you coming back for more. The thing that draws you in and makes you feel like this blogger is your soul sista. The little something that sets that blog apart from other blogs. Those posts that speak to your heart, make you laugh, make you cry, make you rush to the bottom of the post for the little comment box to tell them how it made you feel. That is what this award is about.

You all already know how I feel about keeping it real. Well, I think this award conveys that perfectly. What makes your favorite blog 'real?'
