The London Eye....magnificent!

This was built for the Millenium and supposed to be up for 6-12mths I believe....10 years later it is still standing and is hugely popular. Diagonally opposite the Houses of Parliament on the bank of the River Thames, you get fantastic views of London.

. . . must confess am not much of a bicycle girl {petrified of the traffic and would most likely try to ride in heels}, but after coming across this pretty city bicycle in the most spectacular shade of smokey violet, suddenly dreaming of careening down side-streets with reckless abandon . . .
