. . . crème caramel-coloured velvet perfectly paired with lucite, exotic wood and modern classics, sweeps of carerra and ultra-glamorous mirrors, and most of all, beautiful spaces that defer to the elements of views, art, and light . . .

. . . adore the idea of enveloping the walls of a small space in deep charcoal hues and positively filling every corner with perfectly ornate and beautifully embellished details -- chandeliers and velvet, walk-in closets and wine cellars, silk curtains and tufted headboards and wonderful french antiques -- to create a certain romance, an old-world charm with a luxurious sense of grandeur . . .

{hello + glamorous gold velvet}

. . . shall always and forever adore velvet {this sofa is stunning}, and even more so after happening upon it in mesmerizingly beautiful and wonderfully luxurious shades of gold . . .

{p.s.} hello! thursday again, and dashing out the door for a late lunch on a sunny terrace across town, and today it's a chignon and diamond earrings, a delicate white dress with thin straps and gold embroidery, perfectly paired with gold strappy summer sandals

hope you're having spectacular week and more lovely things soon,
xo

. . . crazy in love with the french doors and herringbone floors, marble staircases and velvet armchairs, crystal and murano chandeliers and soft floods of light captured in these beautiful spaces by photographer andy liffner, but most of all, irresistibly drawn to the perfectly elegant touches of smokey violet in petals and throw cushions and strewn about the walls on wonderfully charming floral paper . . .

{two lovely things: smokey violet & chevron floors}

{two lovely things}: whether in velvet on dining chairs and intermingling with mirrors and chandeliers, or in linen on an elegantly casual sofa and paired with perfectly paneled walls and luxurious gilt french mirrors, there is nothing quite like the stunning combination of smokey violet and always classic chevron floors . . .

{p.s.} utterly enchanted
by the mirrored wall with the secret door

{chanel shoes + shimmery velvet}

. . . there is something about velvet that is so luxuriously alluring, and especially so, on a stunningly elegant and tufted sofa in shades of shimmer and silvery grey. . .

{p.s.} also quite taken with the blush-coloured chanel sandals

{colour inspiration: tea rose & roman coffee}

. . . quite adore the idea of soft and subtle shades of pink as a neutral -- in yards and yards of dramatic silk, side-by-side in velvet or the leather of a perfect pair of flats -- paired with crisp white, luxe gold or the warm tones of roman coffee, shades of tea rose couldn't be more perfect for spring . . .

{two lovely things: chartreuse + velvet}

{two lovely things:} chartreuse and white in a fresh and breezy guest room + glitzy metallics and mossy velvet in a glamorous living room

{p.s.} more shades of green:
* seaglass
* seaside daydreaming
* a change in seasons
