. . . very much looking forward to a long, beautiful summer of little white dresses and strappy heels, ruffles and bows and soft cardigans and silk blouses in alluring shades of lavender and fading twilight, mink violet and always glamorous gold for those sexy and moon-drenched midsummer nights . . .
. . . soon it will be poolside with pomegranate blossom martinis, lunches on terraces and warm summer nights . . . but for now, a hopelessly romantic weekend with no plans in the world but for the ones we make up as we go along . . .
. . . always adore beautiful things shot beautifully, although sometimes fall more for the photography, mint velvet's spring/summer collection is filled with romantic and delicate pieces with their trademark relaxed glamour -- perhaps stripes for a late spring picnic, or silver sequins for sexy summer nights -- but mostly love the mood of the these photographs, which feel as if they were taken on a perfectly bright and wonderful afternoon spent relaxing at home . . .
