Happy first day of Spring!
The following photo was taken several weeks ago at the Affair of the Arts Ball at the DMA. Someone just sent it to me today and I realized I could finally share a full length view of my dress with you all. It was a grayish, silver Ted Baker that I found at Nordstrom the week of the ball. It worked perfectly and I am certain I will be able to wear it time and time again!

Besides getting my blog items in order I did lots of cooking this weekend (remember on New Year's resolution was to cook more often and eat out less during the week...so far so good!) and also took a mini road trip out to Southlake. I am so proud that I was able to stand strong when it came to shopping. As much as I loved that Alexa Pulitzer "H" to-do list it did not come home with me! Afterwards, a friend and I did some driving around and house hunting and had the best time. I love discovering new areas of my own city!
I am thrilled Spring has finally arrived and cannot wait to put my Spring clothes to good use in the coming months and weeks. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. What was the best part??
