Weekend Fun

Happy first day of Spring!
The following photo was taken several weeks ago at the Affair of the Arts Ball at the DMA. Someone just sent it to me today and I realized I could finally share a full length view of my dress with you all. It was a grayish, silver Ted Baker that I found at Nordstrom the week of the ball. It worked perfectly and I am certain I will be able to wear it time and time again!
This weekend, and this year for that matter, has just flown by! I finally sat down and worked on getting things organized for my blog. I started with my blog roll on Friday evening. I noticed several blogs on my list no longer existed and numerous others have been made private or are no longer being updated. I wanted to get things in order for you all as well as myself. So, after some reorganizing things are looking much better! My inbox is also looking much better. I have gotten though ALL but two of my emails from 2011 and two months of 2010. I know that makes me sounds terribly behind, but I got too busy in 2010 with numerous jobs and commitments that my third inbox took the backseat. I appreciate all your notes and kind words and am more determined than ever to catch up now...only 198 more to go (this is down from over 500!!)!
Besides getting my blog items in order I did lots of cooking this weekend (remember on New Year's resolution was to cook more often and eat out less during the week...so far so good!) and also took a mini road trip out to Southlake. I am so proud that I was able to stand strong when it came to shopping. As much as I loved that Alexa Pulitzer "H" to-do list it did not come home with me! Afterwards, a friend and I did some driving around and house hunting and had the best time. I love discovering new areas of my own city!
I am thrilled Spring has finally arrived and cannot wait to put my Spring clothes to good use in the coming months and weeks. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. What was the best part??
