Friday's Royal Wedding was a SPLENDID event! Truly historical and monumental. I awoke at 4:15am and turned on the telly just in time to see Wills and handsome Harry arrive at Westminster Abbey. I then anxiously awaited (with all my Twitter bffs) for the first glimpse of Kate Middleton. To say she took the world's breath away when she stepped out of the Rolls at Westminster Abbey would be an understatement. She was the most radiant bride and seemed so collected as well. It really was no surprise that Harry sneaked a peak and then whispered to Wills "wait until you see her."
The entire ceremony was beautiful and I loved catching glimpses of all the guests as well. However, I think the main highlight of the day were the two kisses on the balcony of Buckingham Palace!
Of course I could also not get enough of Harry and Pippa...
or little Tom Pettifer (Wills and Harry's old nanny's son)!
The festivities did not stop in jolly old Dallas until late on Friday evening. All my guests arrived at 8pm and the chicken and chips were ready shortly after. We turned on the ceremony, which we were all watching for the second and third time...yes, we are obsessed. After the balcony kiss we cut the wedding cake and continued to watch recaps on the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge! Thank you to Mandi and Melissa for taking all the wonderful photos found below.
