Concerts

I sometimes think it is funny that I love going to concerts now because I used to NEVER go. I did not attend a concert until the summer after 10th grade- my father was a real trooper to take me to N'Sync. I guess when you live in a city that loves music and has amazing venues you have to take advantage. Hence the reason I have been to more concerts in the past two years than in my first 21 years of life.

As mentioned this past weekend was a weekend full of fabulous live music and I was very lucky to have such amazing seats and perks at each concert. On Friday night several friends and I drove to Billy Bob's to see the Josh Abbott Band preform (photo riding the bull to come!). One friend went to college with Josh Abbott so she was able to get us backstage passes. We had quite were so lucky and enjoyed the concert. I am a huge fan of country music and have enjoyed 'getting to know' the Josh Abbott Band. If you have never heard of them you MUST listen to my very favorite song: "She's Like Texas:"

It is so catchy yet so soft. Great country music, that is for sure.
