. . . if you have been reading for some time, you may remember a wonderful give-away from last year, for complete interior design services to one reader in new york city by lavender & plum, a boutique design agency known for sophisticated and eclectic style with a hint of whimsicality . . .

the winner was the lovely melisa of the lil bee, who was expecting at the time, and so chose to have a new nursery designed -- and now, a year and a new arrival later, a peek at how it all turned out . . .

. . . if had thought ahead, perhaps these stunning italian high-heeled sandals might have arrived in time for tonight's dinner reservations, as have fallen completely in love with every last perfect detail on these exquisite shoes -- the elegant shade of champagne and delicate ankle strap, the wonderfully romantic linen rose and luxuriously rich wood platform, and most of all, the captivatingly beautiful lucite heel . . .

{p.s.} previous shoes: chanel | lanvin | louboutin

{inspiration: shoe storage}

. . . as not all pairs of shoes can be put on display, always come back to the idea of carefully stored and neatly stacked behind pretty pleated curtains . . .

{p.s.} also adore the lucite chair and antique mirror framed mantel
