Olivia, Olivia....OLIVIA!!!!

Olivia Palermo....New York socialite, actress and model....

I, like many many others, am just fascinated by Olivia....I saw her in magazines way before I started watching her in MTV's "The City"....

Her wardrobe is to-die-for....unequalled by anyone I can think of....and she has a style all of her own, classic, stylish, unique....love her or hate her, you cannot deny that she never seems to look anything less than stunning!!

Beautiful shiny hair (I love the dark brown she is sporting right now)....fabulous bags and shoes, great legs, an amazing figure and a super-handsome model boyfriend, Johannes Huebl....her style seems effortless. Doubtless, she is given clothes all the time and I have no idea if she has a stylist or not....but I do think that she just has an innate sense of style and knows how to put items together...she owns her look and it looks effortless.

I don't like the way she behaves in "The City"....but I do wonder how much is down to editing and the need to create a villain or a b*tch in Olivia's case....since that is clearly her role....

What I do know is this....I have an American friend who has lived in NYC pretty much all her life and I have known her for all my life since our fathers were at University together....her college room-mate and one of her closest friends is another well-known Manhattan socialite....married to a financier, her mother-in-law is one of NYC's most famous charity fundraisers and her father-in-law is one of its most famous plastic surgeons....and yes, she has a social life you would give your right arm for!

She has seen Olivia at many social events and informs me that Olivia is as charming and kind as she is beautiful....and as I always like to see and look for in the good in everyone, that is what I am going to believe. You heard it here!
