Emmys 2009 - Best Dresses....

I do love awards ceremonies, particularly the dresses, and the 2009 Emmys were no exception.....I thought the majority of the dresses were gorgeous....so without further ado, here are my absolute favourites....

Kate Walsh - beautiful dress and gorgeous make-up....perfect....my favourite of the night....

Debra Messing....she always looks so good in red....


Blake Lively....this dress made the Best and Worst Dressed lists I believe...I love it....

Toni Collette....lovely colour and the ruffles on the skirt are so gorgeous....the perfect choice....

January Jones....old Hollywood glamour at its finest...

Cat Deeley....beautiful....

How Heidi Klum stayed looking this cool in the 100 degree heat in LA, I will never know! What I love about Seal is that he always looks relaxed.... wherever he is he always looks at home....they are a great couple...

Sandra Oh....gorgeous in gold....the perfect fit....

Cherry Jones (winning for "24")....looking absolutely radiant....what a beautiful shape this dress is on her....

Tracy Pollen and Michael J.Fox....I love this colour on her....

Hayden Panettiere.....getting it absolutely right.....red is wonderful on her....

Drew Barrymore....I liked the bottom of the dress more than the top....but she does look fabulous....

Another dress that had everyone talking.....Olivia Wilde in an amazing dress....not sure about the "floating" zip on the back of the dress but the overall effect is pretty stunning....

Rose Byrne......gorgeous....

Christina Applegate.....I love this shade of blue....

Mila Kunis....I think this works perfectly on her tiny frame and the colour is fantastic....

And finally.....Jack Bauer himself.....my CCC (current celebrity crush) Mr Kiefer Sutherland. My gorgeous friend Marisa (fabulous in red....I was able to see her on the E!Online 360degree "GlamCam" which was very exciting!)....went to the Emmys once again as a seatfiller....and saw just about everyone....what a day!! She had many glimpses of Kiefer during the ceremony (she is a huge "24" fan too)....but at one point while she was waiting backstage.....who should walk out of a door, walk towards her and stand shoulder to shoulder with her.....for some time....yes, you know who!!!! And as she was thinking about me (a little) at the time.....I have now managed to convince myself that I as good as stood next to him too...thanks for sharing him with me Marisa!
