This week has seen me eating healthily and somehow managing to go to the gym every.single.day. Phew! I thought therefore that since no sweet treats can pass my lips, some visual Chocolate Deliciousness would be perfect today. Yesterday I did my first aerobics class for possibly ten years....I have power-walked and been to the gym during that time, just no classes....and of course during that time I have also had two children and my body has changed.
I figured I would give it a go though and went with a friend.....the first four minutes were wonderful and I grapevined and back-stepped just like my 23-year self used to, generally channelling my inner cheerleader and feeling thrilled that I "still had it" ....marvellous. About four minutes later however, suddenly my legs seemed to belong to someone else and I quickly came down to earth with a bump....thankfully, only the first third of the class was high impact aerobics and I did make it through the remainder of the hour. No gain without pain apparently. I have to say that I did enjoy it though.
