Out there somewhere, I just know there is a world of golden warmth and sunshine...
a world of yellow and clothes without a thermal content....
....where doors and windows can remain open....
....where hot soup doesn't always seem like the best option....
...where going out can actually mean not wearing a coat-scarf-gloves-hat combo and maybe even a sweater or two...and no Uggs or wellies....
....where the sun warms the grass....
....and the blossoms scent the air and brighten the day....
....colour enters your wardrobe once more and you'd be lost without your sunglasses....
More of this please....
....and less of these....
dreaming of....white....cotton....linen....bare arms....blue skies....
....of washing gently drying in the breeze and closing your eyes over a morning cup of tea in the warm sunshine....
As I type snowflakes are swirling gently past my window.....I know you are out there Spring, I know you are.....just letting you know I am so ready for you, just say the word....I shall embrace you like a very long lost friend and turn my face to the sun....
